Laura uses a direct and nonjudgmental therapeutic style and integrates mindfulness techniques to help her clients develop self-awareness and greater emotional health.

Laura believes in the primary importance of the client-counselor relationship, and that real change happens when you are connected and build a trusting relationship. She has a passion for helping teenagers and young adults navigate the difficulties of life. She enjoys helping clients work through anxiety, depression, and suicidal feelings.

Laura is an Adjunct Professor of Psychological Science at the University of North Georgia and has certifications in ASIST Suicide interventions, Child Sexual Abuse, Tele-Mental Health Counseling, and training in Ayurveda wellness.
