Crystal brings warmth and openness to her therapeutic work and believes our sense of self, attachment style, and relationships are key to our general health and wellbeing. She enjoys supporting her clients in re-connecting to themselves and guiding them in learning how to relate to others in ways that promote healthy relationships and resolve conflicts using tools and activities for continued progress outside of sessions. In addition, Crystal works with women navigating the challenges of perimenopause and menopause, offering support during this significant life transition. She also assists couples experiencing this change, helping partners understand and support the women in their lives as they move through perimenopause and menopause.
Supporting her clients since 2007, Crystal draws from a blend of empirically validated treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment-Based Therapy, and The Gottman Method for couples’ therapy. Crystal is trained in the highly reputable Gottman Method for Couples Therapy and often uses approaches from the Gottman methodology in her couples’ work, with a focus on communication, emotional regulation, conflict management, and connection.
