Laura Freeman, LMFT, PMH-C

Laura has a warm and practical approach, using techniques that help her clients connect with the important people in their lives. She believes in meeting her clients where they are and being purposefully focused on their goals.
Laura specializes in couples counseling and the perinatal population.  She also works with individual adults with relationship challenges, trauma, and personal difficulties. In her couples work, she helps her clients with communication, recover from affairs or other betrayals, disconnection, and volatile conflicts. A certified Fair Play method facilitator, Laura is passionate about working with couples who want to find ways to share the mental load and balance domestic labor.  She is a certified perinatal mental health counselor (PMH-C), trained to work with perinatal clients ranging from those experiencing infertility to navigating postpartum and beyond. Laura is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an approach used for healing emotional distress derived from traumatic life experiences.
