Family Counseling/Parent Coaching

Family Counseling includes multiple members of one family. For example, parents and teens may work together with a therapist to make agreements and solve problems, and increase their emotional connection.  Parents and children of all ages may participate in art, experiential activities, or discussion to increase understanding and find new ways of relating to one another. Sometimes adult members of a family participate in counseling to solve relationship problems or recover from past hurt and resentment.

Parent coaching provides support and practical guidance for the hardest job – being a parent!  In these sessions parents learn new approaches to common challenges with children such as tantrums, disrespect, and not following routines.
